About MixTracklist
MixTracklist exists to answer one question: what is the track playing at this moment in this DJ set? You paste a link to a mix on SoundCloud and get back the tracklist, every track with the time it starts, a confidence level and links to the stores and streaming services that carry it.
How a tracklist gets made
When you paste a link, we first check the library. If someone has already identified that set, its tracklist opens at once and costs nothing. If not, we listen to the whole recording from start to finish, in short windows, and look for every moment where a released track can be recognized. Matches that agree with each other are merged into one row with a start time. Rows we are unsure of are kept, and marked as unsure, rather than hidden.
A 90-minute set takes about five to eight minutes. You can close the page: an email arrives when the tracklist is ready. Every finished tracklist joins the public library, which is what keeps reading free for everyone.
What the confidence levels mean
Every row carries a confidence score from 0 to 100, shown on a colored badge.
- Lime (75 and up): a strong match. When the row also says "Double match", two independent matches agreed on the same track. Treat it as identified.
- Amber (45 to 74): probably right; worth a quick listen if it matters to you.
- Gray (below 45): we are not sure. Check it by ear before you rely on it.
We do not publish an accuracy percentage, because it would depend entirely on the set. A set of released club tracks is mostly lime. A set full of unreleased music, dubplates and live edits has gaps, and no service can fill them: music that has never been released or cataloged anywhere cannot be matched to a name. Those rows stay unidentified.
What it costs
Reading the library is free and needs no account. Identifying a new set costs credits: one credit covers a set up to two hours, two credits up to four hours, three up to five. There is no subscription, credits never expire, and a run that fails or recognizes nothing is refunded automatically. The numbers are on the pricing page.
When a row is wrong
Every row on a tracklist page has a report button. Tell us which track is wrong and, if you know it, what it really is. Reports are read by a person and the tracklist is corrected.

The guides and how-tos are written by MixTracklist Editorial. Each one names its sources at the bottom, says when it was last updated, and says plainly where a method stops working, including where MixTracklist is not the answer.
